Aova Technologies
Aova Technologies, Inc. is a Wisconsin agricultural biotechnology company commercializing patented antibody products produced in chicken eggs. Product use, in simple and complex diets, has shown improved feed efficiency and enhanced growth rate of animals regardless of antibiotic usage. By implementing the use of the company's products, animal producers and feed ingredient manufacturers gain natural products that improve their bottom line.

Applied Biotechnology Institute
ABI specializes in applying plant biotechnology towards social, environmental and economic benefits. Our vision is to conduct research that helps bring plant biotechnology products to human health, animal health and industrial markets with minimal risk. Some of our current efforts include: 1) Production of a low cost supply of cellulases used in the production of ethanol from cellulose or that can enhance the digestibility of non-starch feedstock for animals; 2) Subunits vaccines that can be produced in plants and orally administered and; 3) Developing a high intensity natural sweetener (i.e. brazzein).

BioSentinel, LLC
BioSentinel LLC was founded to create novel detection systems, to develop high specificity and sensitivity portable, biosensor devices and to discover antagonists for prevention of bioterrorism by use of botulinum neurotoxins (BoNTs).

null
ioGenetics, LLC
ioGenetics is engaged in the design and development of novel recombinant proteins, with particular emphasis on fusion protein anti-microbials and anti-infectives. Its lead products are anti-cryptosporidial drugs.

Scarab Genomics
Scarab Genomics has bioengineered the Clean Genome® E. coli by deleting over 15% of the E. coli K-12 genome. Using synthetic biology methods, the K-12 genome was rationally designed by making a series of precise deletions, which included the elimination of non-essential genes, recombinogenic or mobile DNA, and cryptic, virulent genes. This genome reduction optimizes the E. coli strain as a biological factory, providing enhanced genetic stability and improved metabolic efficiency. These properties make the Clean Genome the E. coli strain of choice for a wide spectrum of applications ranging from routine cloning to production of biological material for therapeutic purposes.
